Bergwerk Ridnaun - Schneeberg/Mining museum at Ridnaun - Schneeberg
The mining plant is located below the crest which separates the Passeiertal and the Ridnauntal. It has been closed in 1985 and it's now possible to have a look around. Silver, plumb and zinc have been mined from the 11th century on. The mining plant's best period was in 1500 and therefore Sterzing got rich. It is worth seeing it and you can have a look at the fully functional assets.
