Tradition in 4th generation

In a cultivated atmosphere and a cosy comfort we try hard to make your days of vacation to one of the best days of your year. Our house is full of tradition and has a long history.  The hotel was built in the historical wallings of the "Eppburg". In the end of the 12th century the gents of Trens were sitting in the medieval tower, which doesn't exist anymore. The builders of the Eppburg, are the generation of the Eppaner of Trens and they are named in a certificate of 1449. Osbald Eppaner committed to donate half of a "Gilte" of oil or alternatively 24 crowns for the church "Frauenkirche Trens".

The forceful stone walls, the old arches and the wooden ceilings remember of the residence built by Steffan Eppaner, father of Osbald Eppaner. The Eppburg has been a hostelry since 1764 and has been leaded of family Mayr since 1892.
